Reflexology
Reflexology is an ancient art of
healing based on the principle that the body will, given the
opportunity, heal itself and bring about a state of natural balance in
order to function to its full capacity. Reflexology practitioners
follow the theory that all structures and organs in the body are
mirrored on the feet and hands and by the use of specific touching
techniques to stimulate the reflex points, can help the body to regain
a balanced state.
Prevention of ill health is the
ideal, and reflexology is one of the best ways of doing this. Having a
session approx every 4 weeks would help the body to remain in good
health.
Once illness has occurred,
Reflexology can be used as a complementary adjunct to medical treatment
with the co-operation of the client’s doctor or consultant.
